The "Me Time" Tag

So...this isn't really a book related tag but I think it's fun to get to know the person behind the blog so that's why I'm doing the "Me Time" tag. Enjoy!!

What do you watch or read during me-time?
Hmm...I watch a lot of television and it really depends on what I'm marathoning on Netflix BUT some of my favorite shows to watch lately are Friends, Total Divas, New Girl, Scandal, Greys, Mob Wives...
And I read whatever I feel like reading atm.

What do you wear during me-time?
Yoga pants and a hoodie hellur.

What are your me-time beauty products?
Please, if I'm having me time then I'm not wearing makeup. I'm alone in my comfy clothes with hot chocolate and a movie.

Current favorite nail polish?
I Read a Good Book from Wet N Wild.

What do you eat/drink during me-time?
Well I just said hot chocolate a few answers ago but that's not really my favorite drink...look at me being a lying liar. Um I love Sprite, apple juice, or chocolate milk.

Current favourite candle?
Frosted Cupcake from Bath & Body Works.

Do you ever have outdoor me-time?
Not really, especially not right now--it's freaking cold outside.

Would you ever go see a movie alone?
It depends on how bad I want to see the movie.

Favorite online shop?
Amazon, Book Outlet, or SecondSpin

Anything to add? What else do you do during me-time?

I think we've pretty much covered everything, thank you.

Never Never by Colleen Hoover & Tarryn Fisher

We all know that I think the sun shines out Colleen Hoovers ass so obviously I was interested in this book. I have also only heard good things about Tarryn Fisher (even though I haven't read anything by here) so I basically had to pick up this book.

I have a bit of a love hate relationship with this book.

I loved the suspense I felt while reading this and I liked our main characters Charlie and Silas.

I know there is another book coming out in May so they obviously couldn't give us to many answers in this installment but I feel like I didn't get any. Like at all.

This book really did keep me guessing and I didn't want to stop reading it. It was a fun and addicting read and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a book that will keep you on your toes.

Basically (in case you've been under a rock and haven't read the synopsis) Charlie and Silas - our main characters - forget who they are. I'm talking everything about themselves. They don't know their families, their friends or the fact that they were in an on again off again relationship.

They end up figuring out that they were together and when they realize that neither of them remembers who they are shit hits the fan.

Not only do they not remember who they are there is also something seriously wrong. Silas has blood on his sheets and it soon becomes clear that something happened.

Together Charlie and Silas try and figure out not only who they are but they also try to uncover what happened to them.

As I said earlier pick up this book if you want to be kept on your toes...and you know...if you enjoy good books.

Top Ten Tuesday January 20, 2015

Well this week is a freebie so basically you get to pick whatever you want so I'm going to pick
duh duh duh DUH...
Books I Want To Reread

I really enjoy rereading books (occasionally) so I think this is the perfect topic.

10. Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins
I really wanted to reread this when Mockinjay Part 1 came out but I didn't have the time. Part 2 comes out this November so I have no excuse this year.

9. Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout
I. Loved. This. Book. I loved the feelings it gave me and the smile it put on my face. I miss it and I want to read it again.

8. Anna & The French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
I read Isla & The Happily Ever After last year (just like everyone else) and I actually didn't like it at all. I'm talking almost hate. It put an icky taste in my mouth and made me question my love for Anna. I dislike that. I want to reread Anna's story so I can remember my love for Stephanie Perkins.

7. Fifty Shades of Grey by E. L. James
The movie comes out...next month right? Oh my. That's soon. Anyway I'd like to read it again before the movie (because that's what we book lovers do) and I want to see how I feel about it a second time around.

6. City of Bones by Cassandra Clare
I hated this book to be honest. I didn't want to carry on with the series but EVERYONE loved it so I decided to keep going. I enjoyed City of Ashes and adored City of Glass. I'm wondering if I was just being a brat when I read the first book and didn't want to like it because "everybody loved it" or if I just didn't like it.

5. Forgive My Fins by Tera Lynn Childs
Back in November when Book Outlet did their Black Friday sale I bought all three books in the trilogy. I've read the first two and loved them...unfortunately I don't really remember much. So to be fair to the third book I feel it's my duty to reread the first book. (And maybe the second.)

4. Rule by Jay Crownover
You guys know how much I adore Jay Crownover and her beautiful Marked Men. This book had me hooked from the first 10 pages and I miss Rule and Shaws story. I need to pick this back up.

3. Fallen Too Far by Abbi Glines
This book made me fall in love with Abbi Glines and I really miss it. I've had so much fun reading about my other favorite characters but Rush and Blaire started things and I'd like to revisit their story.

2. Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
It's been a very long time since I reread Twilight and I really miss it. I've been wanting to pick it up so I think I'm finally going to.

1. The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

I reread this book twice last year. That's right. Twice. It's the perfect book for me to read when I just want to smile...well...at least for the first half of the book.

Breathe by Abbi Glines

To be honest I almost don't think it's necessary to review any more Abbi Glines books. Why?
Well my friends the answer is simple-because I LOVE THEM ALL!!
I'm beginning to feel repetitive whenever I do a review because every time I do one I go on and on about how fantastic Abbi is and how her books are all simply wonderful.
However since I do love her and it's my blog I don't care if I'm repetitive, I'm going to do another review.
Going to this book I was actually worried. I know-that's just silly. You all know how much I love the Rosemary Beach series, it truly is one of my favorite series, so whenever I go into another Abbi Glines book I'm hesitant. Not because I think the writing won't be good but because I don't think I'll ever love any of her other books as much as my beloved Rosemary Beach.
While R.B. is still numero uno on my list this one did not disappoint-nor did any of her other books.
I've been putting off this series for a while so I thought hey it's the New Year and I'm going to start it off right. Boy did I nail that one right on the head.
This book was so good. Mhm. So. Good.
The story is told in dual perspectives-aka my favorite thing ever. This is great because we get to hear from both our main characters Jax and Sadie.
Jax is a highly successful musician who is on the road all the time. He's gorgeous and talented so of course all the girls go coo coo for coco puffs...or well...you know...Jax. Every summer Jax likes to take some time off and visit his hometown in Alabama. This summer however he's fed up with the music business so he plans to stay the whole season.
Sadie-who by the way I love-is a beautiful girl who doesn't know she's beautiful. Her mother is single and very pregnant so Sadie has to work to make money for the family. She takes a job as a domestic servant--little does she know the house she's working at belongs to Jax Stone teenage heartthrob.
When Sadie and Jax first meet it's obvious that there is an instant attraction and you want them together from the start. Unlike most girls Sadie doesn't bow at Jax's feet and unlike most teen rockers Jax is actually a kind and humble person.
I adored Jax and Sadie but I also loved a lot of the other characters. Abbi Glines has a way of making you not only love her main characters but the supporting characters as well.
I (as usual) definitely recommend this book!!

Twilight Tag

1. What movie and book is your favorite?
Twilight is by far my favorite book out of the series and Breaking Dawn Part 2 is probably my favorite movie.

2. What has your experience been like with Twilight?
One of my cousins friends recommended the series to me when I was 17. I remember ordering Twilight off of Amazon --Fun fact: that was the first book I ever bought off Amazon-- and instantly I was hooked. I remember getting it in the mail and just getting excited. I know it's going to sound uber cheesy but I could feel how much I was going to love that book before I even read it.
Of course as soon as I finished the first book I got New Moon and Eclipse and powered through them. Then I had to experience that miserable wait for Breaking Dawn.
When the movies came out my mom took me to see the first one opening weekend and I knew that I was going to be a Twilight junkie forever. I saw New Moon at midnight opening night and the other 3 opening weekend/day.
I had jewelry, posters, bags, shirts, you name it, I had it.

3. Favorite character?
I know she's gotten a lot of shit in the last few years as being a sucky character but Bella was and is my favorite character. When I read Twilight I would laugh out loud at some of the things she'd say and I felt she was super relatable. Well...as relatable as a girl with a werewolf as a bff and a vampire boyfriend can be.

4. Team Edward or Jacob?
Edward. This doesn't even need to be a discussion.

5. Your favorite Cullen (other than Edward)
Alice!!

6. Favorite song from the soundtrack? Or favorite soundtrack?
OMG hands freaking down Decode by Paramore. I remember when that song was released and it honestly gave me chills. That video. Her voice. Those words. So. Good.

7. How often do you watch a Twilight movie?
Whenever I'm in the mood. I was trying to watch the movies that were out before I went to see the new movie but I never seemed to have the time. This summer when I was on vacation FX was having a marathon and I watched the first two movies--before my mom and family dragged me out to do vacationy things. I also watched Breaking Dawn Part II a couple months back because I felt it was necessary.

8. Would you rather be a vampire or a werewolf?
Vampire fo sho.

9. What vampire power would you want?
I think I'd want Bellas power. Yeah...that sounds good.

10. Most embarrassing thing you did because of Twilight?
I don't think I ever did anything really "embarrassing" because of Twilight. Um... I had a Jacob poster on one side of my room and then across (starring directly at him) I had an Edward poster. It made me feel like Bella because they glared in the pictures so it looked like they were fighting. I'm not embarrassed of that though because I was 18 and don't even lie you did the same thing.

11. A part that made you cry in the book and in the movie?
I don't think I cried in the books. I did throw New Moon across the room when Edward left. Um I may have cried in Breaking Dawn the book I don't remember. As for the movies I think I cried in all of them. I've always been one to get super attached so when I saw Twilight I cried because I couldn't believe my favorite characters were on the screen playing out my favorite book. I cried when Edward left in New Moon, when Jacob got hurt in Eclipse, and when Bella and Edward got married. The one I cried the most in though was Breaking Dawn Part II. I cried when the fight happened and then when the movie was over and they played that freaking song and they showed all of the pictures I balled like a baby.

12. Name all of the movies from your favorite to least favorite.
Breaking Dawn Part II
Twilight
Eclipse
New Moon
Breaking Dawn

2015 Reading Goals

I did a post last year on my book goals and I think I did pretty good with them. I have (for the most part) put up two posts a week, I've read quite a few "new to me" authors, I created a Facebook page for my blog, I read a book that everyone has read, I re-read a book, and I read 55 books out of my goal of 60.
Not so bad, eh?
This year I'd like to set some more goals for myself so lets get started.

1. Read 50 books
Last year I set my goal at 60 (which you just read a minute ago) and while that shouldn't have been a problem it was. I started working at a new job which gives me NO time to read and I also had a busy year. So to not give myself anxiety I'm going to set my goal at 50.

2. Continue To Post Two Times a Week
I did really good at posting two times a week and it really helped with my views. Plus it was hella fun. So my plan is to continue with the two posts a week.

3. Reach 25,000 pageviews
This year my pageviews went up a lot and I am so grateful to you all for that. I'd like to continue that but I don't want to set my goal to high and get disappointed. Considering that I'm almost to 20,000 views now I think I can do it.

4. Interview 5-10 Authors
One of my favorite things to do on here is interviews with authors. I love getting the chance to ask them questions and talk with them. I hope that this year I can do more than 10 but I'd like to set a reasonable goal.
